Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a quarterstaff on his belt. He keeps his long red hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: He was born in the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frouse fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Mehen will drive conversation. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mehen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is a great chef.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
