History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Trail alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: Perra wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Through the years after Perra was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Perra's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Apothecary. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. His childhood dream was to be a Glassblower, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wants to raise his children well
