Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, she wears a tan armored body suit, with a simple black line shooting up and back down. Her silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She is a Mercenary first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Thiala enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: She got into the Mercenary business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. She became a Mercenary soon after.
Motivation: Expand her business; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has never given up on her painting dream.
Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. She sports a flattop crest cut. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shepherd who has hired her part-time. She invites people to come help in her community garden.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student she started as a Barkeep, but she got bored and became a Shepherd. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to be a barkeep again

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.
History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her childhood dream was to be a Knight, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.

Description: He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a grey coat, and he perpetually has his kukri ready. His brown hair is cut short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Henry was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
