Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paymon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Fenriz lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: Born in the east to a Sage, Antinua learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Nutae and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
