The war was a terrible time for him, and Kerkad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Dagnal was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Názkûga fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Sage born in the past three hundred years. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Sage for the past few years.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Paymon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of a Fisher, who enjoyed hunting, Curran was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Fisher, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
