History: He was born in the north. After coming to the age of reason, Laucian took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
