History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Tiaathque alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Roger lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roger grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food.
