History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Shadow alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Jak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jak's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He got into the Miner business at a young age. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
