History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. He's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Uadjit was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her youth she was a Beggar, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Being a Doctor kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Adelaide lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
