He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Dara was born on a far western mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Servant. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the north to a Mason, Cockaby learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Artin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Artin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Artin and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Baern was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He worked as a nervous Butcher and found it very stressful.
