History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
