History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Five took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. After a long history of fighting, Jak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: She was born in the south. Helja was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Dyer. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Healer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush.

History: Astar was born with his father's beautiful face. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is unsatisfied with his job

His shirt is pastel, and he wears a heavy yellow leather apron most of the time. He has shaved his head bald. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Dean hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. Dean enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Baker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody.
