History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Stylist. History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Verin liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
