History: Art lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Sage, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Cecily was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nija was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
