Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Alain was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wishes to resurrect an old love

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She became a Sailor soon after.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
