History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Hlin learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When Hlin reached her early adolescence her Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: Shivering was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Claira grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Claira. She became a Laborer soon after.
