Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Kipper reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Azaki has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Azaki and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: Standing 5'1", this man tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His orange fur is unkempt and raggedy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Shadow is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His first spouse was a Laborer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Seamstress hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.
