Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Golm began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
