History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student she started as a Dyer, but she got bored and became a Courier. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His childhood dream was to be a Banker, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.
