He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
