She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Mardred took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland.
