History: Sariel was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. History: He was born into a rich family. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is greedy

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Qualen grew up listening to his father's many stories. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
