Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Burgell grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 98. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Bree was born with her father's beautiful face. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. She now mingles about in high society.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and balancing his hectic life and new laborer responsibilities is difficult
