History: Born in the south to a Bather, Valida learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She struck the Bather job and began her own company from there.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Spice Merchant father left her crippled. During her travels, Sora and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Sora discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Sora fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
