Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Helja was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to reunite with her absent father

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Joan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Whurdred isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

His hair is long and white with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vondal embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born into a rich family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has never given up on his music dream.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Gifted from a young age, Vadania studied abroad. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
