History: She was born at the edge of vast island. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Katherine took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scythe and armor she uses now. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Bryseis was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Bookbinder. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
