Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Lavinia's homeland. Lavinia decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lavinia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she is wracked by social anxiety

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Dagger's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She got into the Stableman business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
