History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Description: She prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nurkara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nurkara. Being a Dilettante kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she's looking for her big break

History: Born to a Navigator, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Heward wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and money/treasure

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Frug and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
