In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Eran's homeland. Eran decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eran fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wants to open a new tavern
