History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Beast grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: The child of a Knight, who enjoyed hunting, Katherine was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She now mingles about in high society.

His blonde hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: She is fixated on the number 42. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is content; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

History: Born in the west to a Miller, Pennie learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Miller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miller work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
