However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born to a Apothecary, her father struggled to pay the bills. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
