Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

History: She was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Keyleth's homeland. Keyleth decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Orc artifacts is her passion; and to reunite with her old friends

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A freak accident while working with his Hunter father left him crippled. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Gifted from a young age, Xanaphia studied abroad. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: This slender woman stands about 6'0". She wears a black cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings. She keeps her silver hair in a pixie cut. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady silver eyes.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vapula was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it.
