Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Jarsali was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Bertram was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bertram decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with music. She constantly tries to fill her life with music. Arara is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
