In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Cook arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner.
