History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up work as a Marshal and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
