Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
