She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
