History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Kipper learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult.
