Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Naeris was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Naeris's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Naeris and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but she was a colossal failure. She has achieved small success as a Knight.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has worked as a Dyer like his father before him.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
