History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Târz does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
