History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She now owns her own business.

History: Althaea was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
