Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He married young, but lost his spouse to drow. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Melech was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud

She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her hair is short and brown. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She found a children's book about a Gnome Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: He was born in the north. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she dresses like a well dressed Cartwright does. Her silver hair is braided into rings. Her brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and expand her business
