History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Decarabia lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Gardener, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Gardener and was forced into it by her family.

History: Akra was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Akra was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
