Description: She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly warhammers and kukris. She has done her best to style her blonde hair to look like a famous performer. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines violet.
Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Born in the west to a Guard, Vola learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

History: Chassath hails from a village terrorized by drow. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural tiefling artifacts is her passion

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Born in the south to a Beggar, Beatrice learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Beatrice's homeland. Beatrice decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has worked as a Beggar like her father before her.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He found a children's book about a Halfling Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.
Motivation: To unite with his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Interpreter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Animal Trainer, and she later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
