History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

History: She was born into a rich family. Through the years after Lerissa was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
