Description: This man is very fat, and wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his whip with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has a dull look in his blue eyes.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

History: She got into the Merchant business at a young age. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Merchant for the past few years.

Description: She dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. She carries with her a set of sickles, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.
History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Phelaia liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many brigands want her driven away

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Crown-heir. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. A true patriot, Aura would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Aura was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and expand his business

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: The child of a Bricklayer, who enjoyed hunting, Elama was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has never given up on her writing dream.
