Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She got into the Tanner business at a young age. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Personality: Gardain wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Moon was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Assassin. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
