Description: An older man who usually wears his black robe and has his rapier always slung over his shoulder, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is red and very short. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Pelaios is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Pelaios was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. History: Caeldrim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A freak accident while working with his Actor father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
