Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vonbin embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Gifted from a young age, Vonbin studied abroad. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. After a long history of fighting, Vonbin and his spouse have recently divorced.

In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Therai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Glassblower.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

History: He was born in the west. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nicor grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nicor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: She was born in a small forest village. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
