Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young Valorean began to lead the lost caravan. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Gesrethe was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
